Here is a little info on myself. I was at the Philadelphia Naval receiving station when I got my orders to report to PreCom school on 22 Oct 1958, Newport, Rhode Island. I left the fleet training center on 3 Jan 1959 to the USS Independence CVA-62 to Brooklyn, NY and was aboard for commissioning of the Independence. I am a Plank Owner. I left the USS Independence on 23 July 1960.  |
