I went to precomm in Newport and joined her in Brooklyn and then on the shake down to Gitmo....I will send a pic I have from Gitmo with myself, Randsdell and Richie Arsero who was from New York. I got my jaw busted in a brawl in the village in New York and went to St Albans for a few months then got transferred off to Class A Radio School in Norfolk VA. Graduated honor student and got my choice of duty so I picked the Wasp out of Boston. Thought I was going to have it made being stationed in my home town...lol....Ship went on a NATO cruise and a Mediterranean cruise my last two years in....Got my speed key license and sat the sixth fleet circuit most of the time. I also had the cruise book with all the guys in the radio shack that Perrino showed on his site. I will look around and see what I have....not much though as I never took any pics. Too busy playing with the gals on the beach:)
